S&K Vertical has made another step on its way to leadership among Russian law firms, now on the federal level.
The firm has advanced from the regional list up to the federal ranking and, along with international law firms it is a strong competitor in such areas as arbitration, corporate and bankruptcy.
The firm’s arbitration cases, including one of the biggest disputes for the last year Svyznoy v. MTS, Avtodor v. VTB, VKontakte v. Universal and Warner concerning distribution of audio content, as well as the recognized arbitration case of the year that ended up in the Supreme court of the Russian Federation concerning the "rights of the beneficiary” have all been highly appreciated by experts and placed in Group 2 of the federal ranking.
The firm’s bankruptcy cases, such as representing a creditor in Tsentroobuv case, the industry's largest bankruptcy, representing UniCredit Bank in a number of major bankruptcies, as well as protecting the interests of the largest Korean corporations in their debtors’ bankruptcy procedures were also highly rated by experts and placed in Group 2 of the federal ranking.
The firm’s projects in corporate law, such as the Stanislavsky Theatre Foundation and opening of Stanislavsky Electrotheatre, one of this year's significant cultural projects, and the legal support thereof has received a score of this year’s Legal500 and IFLR1000, as well as the corporate cases of the All-Russian Nature Conservation Society have been placed in Group 4 of the federal ranking.
The firm is in the Top 20 by revenue per one attorney and in the Top 30 by total revenue amongst Russia’s largest law firms.
