Today, on October 27, Moscow hosted a conference headed "Russia and China: Partners in Law."
Mikhail Ilin, partner at S&K Vertical, acted as a host of the discussion "Dispute resolution in international commercial arbitration: pros and cons."
The need for such a conference was imminent, given the political and economic reapprochement between the two countries, which is impossible without legal component.
The main topics of discussion were the legal aspects of cooperation between the two countries, resolution of disputes in international commercial arbitration and other topical issues of legal spheres of Russia and China.
During the conference, experts discussed the issues of attracting investments in various sectors of economy of Russia and China, to increase the investment attractiveness of the Russian Far East. Also, the Russian trade issue was discussed with China and issues of customs regulation in Russia.
In addition to the partners of major Russian and Chinese law firms, the conference gathered the representatives of the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Development of the Far East, Sberbank, Gazprombank, Russian and Chinese universities.
