Alena Bachinskaya spoke at Videodays conference on protection of the rights to videocontent in the internet

Moscow hosted the First Video Marketing Conference called Videodays.

The event gather the most popular video hosting services in Russia, such as Youtube and Vkontakte.

Among the speakers were: Mikhail Slobodin, General Director at Beeline; Alexander Kruglov, Business Development Director at Vkontakte; Kirill Litovinsky, Russian and CIS Manager at Youtube, Ivan Kalyuzhny, Head of Social Media Relations at Alfa Bank etc.

Alena Bachinskaya, attorney at S&K Vertical, presented a report called “Protection of the rights to video content in the Internet” devoted to the following issues:

Main legal risks associated with publishing of video content;
Violations of the law in the Internet;
IP rights to video content;
Legal mechanisms to protect video content.
